student are no longer safe In and outside campus ,because the community seems threaten ,below is some experience shared by student hoping that their voice be heard

There have been quite a few  reports of stealing and obtaining by force in an around the new and old tetdund buildings close to ugbomoro girls hostel.
One of the most latest reports came from one student identified as Sam's Ovo. He narrated thus:

On Sunday 27th of January 2019 an incident occurred close to the basketball court along the new tetfund road.  A 200 Level mechanical engineering student who was going to read at around some minutes to 9:00pm was robbed of his handset and beaten by unknown persons.
''On Tuesday 29th a similar event occurred along the road between  lecture theatre  1 and the hostel.  A girl was robbed of her phone and ATM card by some unknown set of persons.
Same day at the back of tetfund along the road that leads to ugbomro I and my friends who were returning from school at about 9:00pm were almost robbed if not for  God's intervention and my quick understanding of their mission.
Should we wait till it gets worst before something is done?
It is now quite seen that the school environment is no longer safe for it's occupants.
I want to show my displeasure at the manner in which the apex body in charge of students in the school are handling this issues.
The appropriate authorities should please do something about it as students are now afraid to read in halls and move around the school environment in the evenings.
Something should be done About it... ''
We do hope that this gets to the appropriate authorities and that something tangible is done on time before things escalate beyond this.
